Q. How do I use a Gold Pass to get medals every day?

A. When you have a Gold Pass, you will get 20 additional medals when receiving a consecutive sign-in bonus.
If you have already received the bonus for the current day, it will be reflected when you sign in on the following day.
(Note that if your consecutive logins are interrupted, you may need to fulfill the conditions for getting a consecutive sign-in bonus for around 2 days before you can receive the bonus.)

■Checking if you have received a login bonus
Select "System" > "Medal Purchases" and then tap the left or right arrow on the "Medal Purchase History" screen to check your medal usage.
If it has been reflected, "Login Bonus" will be displayed.

Q. The purchase I made in High Sea Saga has not arrived.

A. There can sometimes be delays with the Google Play payment system, and in some cases this may make purchases take some time to arrive.

Also, orders can sometimes be automatically cancelled. In this case you will receive an email from Google regarding the cancellation.

If you have not received a cancellation email, you can try the steps below to see if you can receive your purchase in the app.

1. First, update the app to the latest version (open it in the Google Play Store).
Also update the Google Play Store app to the latest version.

2. Turn your device off and then turn it on again. Also check that your device's date and time are set correctly.

3. After restarting your device, confirm that you are logged in using the account that you use for the Google Play Store.

4. Launch High Sea Saga and select
"Items" > "Get Medals" from the menu.
Then return to the main screen and wait for a short time.

* If performing the steps above does not result in your purchase being reflected in the app, please quit the app and retry step 4 after waiting for around 1 hour.

Q. Can I transfer my game data if I get a new device?

A. At present, if you change your device you must re-download the game on the new device, and cannot transfer your save data. We are deeply sorry.

Q. My save data has disappeared. Is it possible to get it back?

A. Save data is only stored locally on your device, and not on our servers. For this reason, if your save data is lost, there is unfortunately no way to get it back. We are deeply sorry.

Q. How do I cancel a game service that has a monthly fee?

A. 1. From an Android device
Be sure that your device is signed in to the Google account you used to sign up for the monthly service, then open the following page on the Google Play Store.
You can then cancel the monthly service. (You must be signed in to the account you used to sign up for the monthly service.)

2. From a PC, iOS or other device
Access the Google Play Store from your web browser and sign in using the Google account you used to sign up for the monthly service. You can cancel from the "My apps" tab, or the High Sea Saga page.

To use methods 1 or 2 above, you must be signed in to the Google account used to sign up for the Gold Pass. If you do not know your account name or password, please refer to the page below and use the "Contact us" button located near the top right to contact Google Play Support.

Q. My screen is all black.

A. Try turning off your device and then turning it back on again.

Q. The app quits just after it starts up.

A. The game may not start if your device has been rooted or if you are using certain tools.

Q. I am having an issue with the game.

A. In some cases, issues are solved by updates, so first be sure that you have updated to the latest version in the Google Play Store.
If it happens again, make sure that your email settings allow you to receive email from the domain "kaipa.jp".
Then please send an email to support describing the issue you are experiencing in detail.

Q. How can I take more teams with me on a quest?

A. 1. Purchase the "Quest Team +1" item in the Special Shop.
2. The number of teams you can select when going on a quest will increase by 1.
When going on a quest, use "Select Team" to select as many additional teams as you have purchased.
* Purchasing "Quest Team +1" does not affect the number of Combat Teams who fight on the deck of your ship. These increase when your ship increases in size.

Q. When does my Online Rank go up?

A. If you meet the conditions for promotion during the week from Monday to Sunday, you will be promoted on the following Monday.
(Each Monday, if you return to the game's title screen and restart, a promotion event will occur.)
Even if you fulfill the requirements for promotion on a Monday, you will still have to wait until the following Monday to be promoted.

Q. I am anchored at an island where I can refill my resources, but my resources don't get refilled even after they reach 0.

A. If you spend too long anchored at an island and there is little activity, interactions between residents and crewmembers will stop.
Activity will resume if you go to a different island or don't play the game for a while.
You can check the activity status by selecting an island from the map.

Q. I have run out of gold.

A. If you place facilities such as fields and then leave the game for a while, your gold can decrease surprisingly quickly. Check if you have onboard facilities that consume gold.
Also, things like recruiting crewmembers after Online Battles, using the Blacksmith, and installing cannons can use up a lot of gold.

Q. When I tried to accept a friend request, I was told that the other party's friend list may be full.

A. This is displayed when someone who sent you a friend request already has the maximum number of friends, making you unable to accept it. In this case, please refuse the request.

Q. Do you get rewards for unlocking islands?

A. You do not necessarily get medals or items for unlocking an island.
Some events do not give bonuses.

Q. Is there a limit to how many medals I can have?

A. You cannot purchase more than 999 medals (when purchasing with a Gold Pass, this is increased to around 1200).
Purchases can be made as long as your total is less than these limits.

Q. My number of mastered jobs is listed as 0.

A. When you have mastered all jobs, the counter is reset, so the number of mastered jobs will be displayed as 0.
But don't worry--your characters' stats will reflect the fact that you have mastered all jobs.

Q. When do consecutive logins start to be counted?

A. The cutoff for logins begins at around 4:00 am each morning.
Depending on the time the game was started, it is possible that the daily login may not be counted.

Q. I can't upgrade my monsters.

A. In order to upgrade a monster, its original name must end with "Ⅱ".
Normal monsters or monsters with the "X" rank cannot be upgraded.

Q. When are medals consumed?

A. Medals are consumed in the following situations:
・When changing a crewmember's job to a rare one in the latter part of the game
・When recruiting a new crewmember
・When purchasing certain items from the shop
・When retrying after all of your teams were defeated
This is not an exhaustive list, so there may be other cases when medals are consumed as you play the game.

Q. If I change a crewmember's job, will his or her ability also change?

A. Crewmember abilities do not change even if you change their jobs.
However, if you play the game long enough, you might encounter a special item that allows you to change abilities as well.

Q. No matter how long I wait, I can't seem to play an Online Battle.

A. Devices that have been "rooted" or that have been used in inappropriate behaviors such as cheating may not be able to play Online Battles.
If this applies to you, you must reinstall the game and start over from the beginning. We ask for your understanding in this matter.

Q. Why doesn't a pirate battle ever start?

A. Launch the app, waiting five to ten minutes until a battle starts. (Note that use of the Monster Flute before arriving at a pirate ship may extend your wait. The current state of your crewmates is also a factor.)
